Megin is excited to create additional recreational and business opportunities for the community. A Friends of Fort Hardy volunteer since June 2023, she has also helped Schuylerville increase accessibility and become a Certified Bike Friendly community through her participation in the Trail Town Committee.

A a local feature writer since 2009, Megin has also pursued studio arts, and worked as a production crafter for 10 years. For two years during the pandemic, she homeschooled her son, and in 2020, founded an afterschool STEAM club for 5th graders. She was a Cub Scout den leader, the 2015 founder of the Lego Club at the Greenwich Free Library, and a 2012 member of the Argyle Youth Committee.

Megin released a book in 2025, called Saratoga Dogs: Past to Present, a fascinating look at the connections between canines and their community as we evolve together through time. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of this book will be donated to the Friends of Fort Hardy Park to help build dog-friendly public spaces. You can pick up your copy here on Amazon today!

Megin enjoys visiting local events and establishments. Her favorite activities are yoga, dance, frisbee, and miniature golf.

Growing up in Saratoga, Gwen moved to her home nestled on Fish Creek 10+ years ago with her husband Dan, which has given her a deep-rooted connection to the local community and environment. With over 18 years of experience in graphic design and visual communications—Gwen brings her creative expertise to the Friends of Fort Hardy Park. When she’s not walking her dog through the park, she’s designing innovative solutions to help preserve and enhance this local treasure. 

In 2023, Gwen crafted a fresh logo and website for the Friends of Fort Hardy Park, bringing the organization and brand to life.

Beyond her role with the park, Gwen is the founder of Rebel Dragon Creative, a woman-owned graphic design boutique built on a simple philosophy: great branding shouldn’t be out of reach. She is passionate about helping nonprofits and businesses of every size build professional, memorable brands through thoughtful strategy and creative design. Her work can be seen throughout the community at organizations and local favorites including the Schuylerville Public Library, Ferdle Turtle, Revibe Gifts & Wellness, Revolution Cafe, Loretta’s Tomes & Tealeaves, Savor Life Mindfully, and more.

Dan Dragon is a Senior Software Engineer and IT professional with extensive experience in systems development, digital infrastructure, and technical problem-solving. With a strategic, detail-oriented approach, he supports Friends of Fort Hardy Park by helping maintain and improve the organization’s digital systems.

Throughout his career, Dan has earned multiple industry certifications and built a strong reputation for thoughtful problem-solving and long-term technical planning. His work helps ensure reliable, accessible tools that support communication and day-to-day operations.

Beyond his professional role, Dan is a dedicated lifelong learner with a strong interest in community-based technology, accessibility, and communication, including the study of American Sign Language. He is also a pit master, often grilling and cooking for his wife, Gwen.

An avid reader and technology enthusiast, he enjoys exploring emerging hardware and managing personal technical projects, bringing that same curiosity and steady approach to supporting the park’s mission.

Patti is a passionate advocate for Schuylerville and a driving force behind many of Friends of Fort Hardy Park’s community partnerships and initiatives. With deep roots in the area and strong connections throughout the region, Patti has a gift for bringing people together, building relationships with local businesses and organizations, and inspiring others to get involved.

Whether she’s coordinating volunteers, connecting community partners, or championing new opportunities, Patti’s enthusiasm and determination help move projects forward and strengthen the park’s impact.

As co-owner of Revibe Gifts & Wellness, Patti is also a Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist and Certified Past-Life Therapist, helping others find healing, personal growth, and balance through classes, workshops, and individual sessions.

Beyond her business, she is an active volunteer who regularly attends Community Conversations and Village meetings, serves on local boards, and generously supports countless local organizations and events.

Inspired by the values her family instilled in her from a young age, Patti believes that if you’re going to be part of a community, you should be an active part of it. She lives that philosophy every day, inspiring those around her and helping make Schuylerville a stronger, more connected place.
